BENSON, AZ (October 29, 2024) – Saturday, a startling traffic crash on eastbound Interstate 10 led to injuries.

The crash involving two vehicles caused a traffic backup on eastbound I-10 near Benson.

Although the road remained open, significant delays were caused, blocking the left lane about 10 miles west of Benson, as reported by the Arizona Department of Transportation. Westbound lanes were unaffected.

The severity of the injuries is unknown, and ADOT has not provided an estimated reopening time for the highway.
