MESA, AZ (November 29, 2023) – Monday night, a startling traffic crash near Broadway Road and Stapley Drive led to multiple injuries.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. near Broadway Road and Stapley Drive.

According to reports, a Valley Metro bus veered off the roadway to avoid a collision with another vehicle. Then, the bus collided with several parked vehicles before crashing into a home.

Moreover, responders confirmed that two people from the home sustained minor injuries, one person from a vehicle on the property sustained minor injuries and six people from the bus suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, authorities said that two people from a pickup fled the scene on foot after the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
