1 Person Hurt in San Diego Traffic Accident on Interstate 5
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 25, 2023) – On Monday, a startling three-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 injured 1 person.
The incident happened on southbound Interstate 5.
According to reports, a white van struck a Ford Ranger for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Ford truck to collide with a third vehicle. Also, the Ford Ranger erupted into flames after the collision.
Moreover, responders transported the male driver of the Ford to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, CHP closed three northbound lanes of Interstate 5 but has long since reopened.
At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
