Injuries Reported in Fairfield Auto Accident on Interstate 80 and Suisun Valley Road

FAIRFIELD, CA (August 17, 2023) – Wednesday, a startling single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 and Suisun Valley Road.

The crash involving a single vehicle happened on westbound Interstate 80 near the Suisun Valley Road off-ramp.

According to reports, a Jeep hit the back of a box truck that was disabled on the shoulder.

Then, responders extricated one person from the vehicle, and was transported to a trauma center with moderate injuries. Also, a second person was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Firefighters also found a disabled vehicle on the road. Thus, drivers are urged by law to slow down to 45 mph or move over a lane if possible.
