COOLIDGE, AZ (September 23, 2024) – On Sunday, a startling single-vehicle crash on Highway 287 and Nafziger Road injured two people.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 287 and Nafziger Road.

According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, a car that was traveling recklessly, lost control and rolled over multiple times.

Moreover, responders airlifted the 17-year-old male driver of the vehicle and his 15-year-old female passenger to a hospital, both with serious injuries.

Furthermore, PCSO believes speed and impairment played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
