LOLETA, CA (February 8, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling single-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Hookton Road injured two people.

The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. on Highway 101 near Hookton Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a green Ford Ranger pickup struck the center divider for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated occupants who were trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported two people to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
