2 People Hurt in Tulare County Auto Accident near Avenue 96 and Road 228

TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 25, 2023) – Sunday morning, a startling single-vehicle crash near Avenue 96 and Road 228 injured two people.

The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. near Avenue 96 and Road 228 near Terra Bella.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle lost control and crashed for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle driver fled the scene after the crash.

As a result, responders transported two teenage occupant of the vehicle to Valley Children’s Hospital with major injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
