SAN PEDRO, CA (August 27, 2023) – Friday night, a startling rollover crash on West 19th Street near Western Avenue injured 2 people.

The incident happened just before 9:00 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 19th Street near Western Avenue, said spokesman Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

As a result of the crash, one vehicle overturned. Then, two people were trapped inside and required extrication. Afterward, responders took both of them to hospitals in critical condition.

Then, the driver of the other car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
