2 People Arrested in Gardena Traffic Accident on Rosecrans Avenue and Budlong Avenue

GARDENA, CA (August 3, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling police chase crash on Rosecrans Avenue and Budlong Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident started at around 3:45 p.m. when authorities started chasing a suspected stolen white four-door vehicle.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the suspected stolen vehicle jumped onto the sidewalk near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Budlong Avenue and struck a pedestrian.

Then, the occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot after the collision.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the pedestrian was not seriously injured in the incident.

Furthermore, officers managed to arrest the vehicle driver who surrendered immediately. Authorities located and arrested the passenger of the vehicle just a short moments later.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
