SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (April 4, 2023) – Sunday night, a startling police chase crash on Myrtle Avenue injures 1 person.
The incident began with a traffic stop that turned into a pursuit which led to a crash.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a stolen vehicle escaped after being pulled over by police. Then, the driver struck a parked car that had a civilian inside.
Initially, the chase started at Myrtle Avenue and College Oak Drive and lasted less than 60 seconds.
Then, a driver and a passenger tried to exit the stolen vehicle and left the scene of the crash on foot.
