Injuries Reported in Jacinto City Pedestrian Accident on US 59 Eastex Freeway
JACINTO CITY, TX (December 9, 2024) – Sunday, a startling pedestrian crash on US 59 Eastex Freeway injured a man.
The incident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on US 59 Eastex Freeway in northeast Harris County.
According to reports, the 64-year-old pedestrian was walking from east to west and was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The driver stopped right away and cooperated with investigators. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials from Harris County have not released the victim’s name but noted he was wearing a hospital band.
