Police Pursuit Ends in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Springdale Road near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard
AUSTIN, TX (October 17, 2023) – Early Monday morning, a startling pedestrian crash on Springdale Road near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard injured 1 person.
The incident happened at around 3:20 p.m. when an officer spotted a driver who seemed intoxicated and who potentially had outstanding warrants. Thus, the officer tried to pull the driver over. However, the driver failed to yield and fled the scene.
Hence, the officer began a pursuit. Eventually, the suspect struck a person crossing Springdale Road near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Airport Boulevard.
