SAN DIEGO, CA (April 8, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a startling pedestrian crash on Soledad Road near Kate Sessions Park injured one person.

The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. on Soledad Road near Kate Sessions Park.

According to the San Diego Police, a vehicle struck a 6-year-old boy who ran into the roadway after spotting his father across the street.

Moreover, responders transported the victim to a hospital with a broken pelvis.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Diego Police continued to investigate the crash.
