The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on S Zarzamora Street and W Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

Police reported that a 70-year-old man was walking in a crosswalk when he was hit by an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on S Zarzamora Street.

The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to authorities.
