SANTA MONICA, CA (September 30, 2023) – Friday morning, a startling pedestrian crash on Ocean Avenue and Marguerita Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 8:34 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Marguerita Avenue.

According to the Santa Monica Police Department, a 2018 Toyota SUV traveled north on Marguerita Avenue. Meanwhile, the pedestrian was crossing west on Ocean Avenue when the crash occurred.

After the crash, responders transported the 64-year-old pedestrian to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the motorist stayed at the scene of the crash and has been cooperative with the investigation.
