TYLER, TX (June 19, 2023) – Saturday night, a startling pedestrian crash on Loop 323 and Robertson Road injured 1 person.

The Tyler Police received a report of a pedestrian crash at around 9:00 p.m. Moreover, it happened on Loop 323 and Robertson Road, said Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh.

A sergeant revealed that the woman initially crashed her own car. Then, as she began walking north on the loop in the roadway, a vehicle hit her.

After the crash, responders transported the patient to UT Health. Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed her condition.

Meanwhile, the driver that hit the victim remained at the scene.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
