KATY, TX (March 31, 2024) – Saturday, 3 people sustained injuries in a startling pedestrian crash on Imperial Landing Lane near Clay Road.
The incident occurred on Imperial Landing Lane near Clay Road. Reports said that a woman walked across the street while towing two toddlers in a small wagon. Then, they were struck.
As a result, two toddlers, a 2-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy were taken to the hospital by Life Flight.
Meanwhile, a woman was taken by ambulance with a possible broken bone and also expected to survive.
The woman managed to push the toddlers and herself away just in time, which Gonzalez stated helped reduce the impact of the collision.
They suspect the woman is the children’s nanny. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed at the scene.
While there were no signs of impairment, speeding seems to have played a role. Whether the driver will face charges is currently undetermined.
