AUSTIN, TX (September 22, 2024) – Friday night, a startling pedestrian crash on East Stassney Lane near Burleson Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on East Stassney Lane near Burleson Road.

According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders confirmed that injuries were sustained in the incident.

Furthermore, the crash closed the westbound lanes of East Stassney Lane but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the APD continued to investigate the crash.
