Reports said that the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Bear Valley Road near Second Avenue.

A woman driving a 2013 blue Kia Forte remained at the scene following a serious incident and fully cooperated with authorities. Emergency responders were quick to arrive and called for an airlift due to the severity of the situation. A Reach helicopter touched down at Desert Valley Hospital, where the injured pedestrian was then flown to a trauma center for advanced care.
