Injuries Reported after Los Angeles Street Takeover on 54th Street and Western Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 25, 2023) – Monday morning, a startling pedestrian crash on 54th Street and Western Street injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 3:00 a.m. on 54th Street and Western Street. According to reports, the Los Angeles Police Department officers with the 77th Street Division responded to a street takeover.

Upon their arrival, all vehicles involved in the takeover had escaped the area leaving only the pedestrian and a witness.

Then, responders took the victim to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t clarified whether the victim was an onlooker or an innocent bystander.

Officer Drake Madison with LAPD Media Relations said this was a felony hit-and-run incident.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
