1 Person Hospitalized in Albuquerque Pedestrian Accident on 4th Street near Bellrose Avenue
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (October 1, 2024) – Saturday night, a startling pedestrian crash on 4th Street near Bellrose Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 7:40 p.m. in the 4500 block of 4th Street NW, near Bellrose Avenue NW.
According to the APD, a vehicle struck a pedestrian who stepped into the lanes for still unknown reasons.
Responders rushed the pedestrian to a local area hospital with serious injuries.
Officers closed 4th Street in both directions, between Bellrose Avenue and San Clemente Avenue, to give way to the responders.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the APD continued investigating the crash.
