Injuries Reported in Ojai Pedestrian Accident on 300 Lion Street
OJAI, CA (August 25, 2024) – Thursday night, a man suffered injuries in a startling pedestrian crash on 300 Lion Street.
The crash involving an Ojai man and a gray Prius happened at about 8:43 p.m. in the 300 block of Lion Street, as the 40-year-old pedestrian was walking.
The Ojai man was struck and thrown into a parked car on Lion Street, sustaining moderate injuries. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the Prius involved in the incident fled the scene, and the vehicle may have damage on its passenger side, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
