The incident occurred just after 4:45 p.m. in the 20300 block of Carey Place.

Officials reported that a 3-year-old was hit by a vehicle. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Public Information Officer, the driver claimed they did not see the child. 

The child was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
