CHULA VISTA, CA (April 18, 2024) – Friday night, a startling pedestrian crash on 200 Fourth Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 9:00 p.m. in the area of 200 Fourth Avenue.

Reports said that a vehicle struck and injured a 20-year-old pedestrian. When authorities arrived, an unresponsive person was on the road.

Meanwhile, fire department personnel also came to the scene and delivered first aid to the victim before taking the individual to a local trauma center. Officers added that the pedestrian was a female who remained in critical condition.

Also, the driver involved in the incentive remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.

Furthermore, the Chula Vista Police Traffic Bureau responded to the scene to investigate the collision.

Meanwhile, the authorities do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash.
