Injuries Reported in Amarillo Pedestrian Crash on 10th Avenue and Ross Street
AMARILLO, TX (November 7, 2023) – Monday, a startling pedestrian accident on 10th Avenue and Ross Street injured 2 people.
The incident happened when a truck drove west on 10th Avenue. Then, as they crossed traffic lanes, they struck a person in the parking lot of a business near the S.E. corner of 10th and Ross Street.
Afterward, the driver went across Ross Street, struck a traffic light box then went into a building near the S.W. corner of the intersection.
After the crash, responders took both the driver and the pedestrian to the hospital. Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the person hit suffered life-threatening injuries.
Moreover, the incident damaged the traffic box which affected the lights at this intersection.
