Police Vehicle Involved in Sacaton Multi-Vehicle Accident on State Route 87

SACATON, AZ (April 17, 2024) – Tuesday night, a startling multi-vehicle crash on State Route 87 led to minor injuries.

The incident involved a law enforcement cruiser and several vehicles.

When first responders arrived on State Route 87, they found the police vehicle with damage to its driver’s side front end and another vehicle on the side of the roadway overturned on its side.

Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that the officers were there to assist the Gila River Police Department with the crash.

Also, the incident led to minor injuries and the roadway has been blocked.
