1 Person Hurt in Redding Traffic Accident on Rancho Road and Sheena Lane
REDDING, CA (March 21, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a startling multi-vehicle crash on Rancho Road and Sheena Lane injured one person.
The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. on Rancho Road and Sheena Lane.
According to the Redding Police, a Redding Electrical Utility bucket-style truck rear-ended a 2005 Ford Mustang for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Mustang towards the westbound lane and collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.
Moreover, responders transported the 69-year-old female driver of the Mustang to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, authorities confirmed that minor injuries were also sustained in the crash.
Furthermore, the crash closed Ranch Road for about an hour but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Redding Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
