Injuries Reported in Lake Cachuma Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 154 near Lake Cachuma Recreation Area

LAKE CACHUMA, CA (April 23, 2023) – Saturday, a startling multi-vehicle crash on Highway 154 injured 2 riders in Lake Cachuma.

The incident involved two motorcyclists and a sedan that crashed on Highway 154. Moreover, it happened outside of the entrance to Lake Cachuma Recreation Area.

Meanwhile, responders transported the two riders, a male and female, for critical injuries to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital (SBCH).

Then, responders transported two occupants of the sedan for minor injuries to SBCH.

Santa Barbara area California Highway Patrol shut down multiple lanes of Highway 154.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
