EL PASO, TX (September 16, 2024) – Sunday night, several people were hurt in a startling multi-vehicle crash on Doniphan East and Spur 16.

The incident involving four vehicles occurred at around 7:15 p.m. on Doniphan East and Spur 16.

According to dispatch, eight individuals were transported to medical facilities, with one person sustaining serious injuries. The Texas Department of Transportation announced that all lanes of Doniphan, in both directions, were closed following the accident.

As of 12:30 a.m. on Monday, September 16, all lanes on Doniphan at Spur 16 have been reopened.
