Injuries Reported in Long Beach Multi-Vehicle Accident on Artesia Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard

LONG BEACH, CA (November 26, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a startling multi-vehicle crash on Artesia Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard injured 3 people.

The incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. on Artesia Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard.

According to reports, the Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies chased a stolen vehicle which appeared to be a gray Dodge Charger.

Then, as the pursuit continued, the suspect hit a white pickup truck near a Shell gas station at the intersection of Artesia and Long Beach Boulevards.

Also, the crash toppled over a traffic signal pole while destroying concrete barriers. Then, the suspect’s vehicle caught fire and fire crews worked to extinguish the wreck.

Moreover, the hood of the suspect’s vehicle was completely damaged while the white truck spun out into the middle of the road.

Then, both vehicles had heavy damage in the crash.

Moreover, three people were taken to the hospital — the suspect driver and two occupants of the pickup truck.

Moreover, their conditions remained unknown. Also, deputies added that the injuries ranged from minor to major. Roads in the area were closed for some time as crews worked to clear the debris.
