LAREDO, TX (January 3, 2024) – Friday afternoon, a startling multi-vehicle crash on 600 Zapata Highway injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. at the 600 block of Zapata Highway.

According to Laredo Fire officials, the crash involved multiple vehicles and two people suffered injuries.

Furthermore, responders treated a 25-year-old woman and took the person to the hospital in serious condition. Then, a 27-year-old man declined treatment on the scene despite paramedic recommending it.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
