CAJON PASS, CA (December 20, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a startling motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 and Highway 138 injured 1 person.

The incident occurred at around 12:51 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15, about two miles after Highway 138 exit.

Officers said that the crash involved a motorcyclist on a super sports bike and a white BMW sedan.

The impact ejected the rider from the bike. When officers arrived, they found the rider lying in the traffic lanes.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the rider managed to crawl to the center divider of the freeway. Then, when crews arrived on the scene, they took the rider to a local trauma center in moderate to serious condition.

Meanwhile, the vehicle that struck the motorcyclist did stop at the scene and suffered no injuries in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
