REDDING, CA (November 29, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a startling motorcycle crash on E Cypress Avenue and Alfred Way injured 1 person.

The incident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on E Cypress Avenue and Alfred Way.

According to Redding police, a male motorcyclist was riding west on East Cypress Avenue, west of Alfred Way. However, a Honda Pilot driver by a woman pulled out of a shopping center, crashing with the motorcyclist.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist off his bike and the Pilot’s airbags were deployed.

As a result, the male motorcyclist suffered injuries.

Moreover, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
