Injuries Reported in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on 15 Freeway near Joshua Street

HESPERIA, CA (December 26, 2023) – On Christmas Day, a startling motorcycle crash on 15 Freeway near Joshua Street injured 1 person.

The incident occurred at around 4:05 p.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway near the Joshua Street off-ramp. According to reports, the crash involved a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a white Ford Focus.

According to reports, the male motorcyclist who was in his early 20s remained alert and was talking to passersby who stopped to help until responders arrived.

Then, firefighters with the San Bernardino County Fire Department, and officers with the California High Patrol came to the scene and found the rider and the vehicle along the right shoulder of the freeway.

Afterward, responders transported the rider by ground ambulance to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which appeared to be non-life threatening.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford Focus who stayed at the scene was cooperative with officials and did not require medical attention.

Also, the crash stalled traffic on the 15 freeway in the immediate area.
