13-Year-Old Boy Arrested after Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident in San Fernando Valley
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 15, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a startling motorcycle crash in San Fernando Valley led to injuries.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. in the San Fernando Valley, said the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to reports, a motorcycle officer responded to a report of a stolen car. Upon the officer’s arrival, he located the allegedly stolen vehicle. However, the 13-year-old male driver didn’t yield to a traffic stop.
Hence, the officer started with a short pursuit. However, the stolen car struck the officer’s motorcycle and another uninvolved motorist.
Meanwhile, the authorities took the juvenile driver and his 15-year-old female passenger into custody.
Then, the authorities booked the boy into juvenile hall on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. Moreover, the authorities didn’t disclose his identity due to his age.
Moreover, responders transported the officer and third-party motorist to the hospital and were later released.
