Injuries Reported in Malibu High-Speed Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
MALIBU, CA (January 5, 2024) – Thursday night, a startling hit-and-run crash on Pacific Coast Highway injured 2 people.
The incident occurred at around 6:40 p.m. when a speeding car collided with another car, said the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
According to deputies, the driver who caused the incident left his car and went up into the nearby hills. Thus, the department requested help from search and rescue teams to find the driver because they were concerned about his injuries.
Meanwhile, reports confirmed that two other parties sustained injuries.
Also, the incident mangled the front of one car, nearly destroying the engine block.
Moreover, the crash led authorities to shut down part of the roadway.
