Injuries Reported in Fresno Bicycle Accident on Olive Avenue and Van Ness Avenue
FRESNO, CA (December 16, 2023) – Friday night, a startling hit-and-run crash on Olive Avenue and Van Ness Avenue injured 1 person.
The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on Olive Avenue and Van Ness Avenue.
According to the Fresno police Lt. Leslie Williams, the bicyclist was heading west on Olive Avenue. Then, he crossed the road from north to south outside of an intersection or a crosswalk area.
Afterward, a vehicle hit the bicyclist, knocking him to the ground. Thus, responders took him to Community Regional Medical Center, and is listed in stable condition.
Then, the authorities are searching for a gray SUV that went off the area after the crash.
Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information to contact police at 559-621-7000.
