Injuries Reported in San Jose Bicycle Accident on North 1st Street and Interstate 880
SAN JOSE, CA (April 12, 2023) – Monday night, a woman suffered injuries in a startling hit-and-run crash on North 1st Street and Interstate 880.
The San Jose Police Department revealed that the crash occurred in the area of North 1st Street and Interstate 880. Moreover, officers remained at the scene at about 9:30 p.m.
According to reports, a hit-and-run vehicle struck and injured a female bicyclist. Then, responders took her to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Eventually, she stabilized and her injuries were downgraded to non-life-threatening.
Also, the crash shut down roads in the area following the crash. Moreover, police urged motorists to use alternate routes.
