Injuries Reported in Lindsay Pedestrian Accident on Highway 65 and Hermosa Street

LINDSAY, CA (February 27, 2024) – Saturday night, a 36-year-old woman suffered injuries in a startling hit-and-run crash on Highway 65 and Hermosa Street.

The crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. on Highway 65, north of Hermosa Street.

According to reports, as the woman crossed the highway, a vehicle hit her. However, the involved vehicle fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

Meanwhile, the officers located the victim in the street suffering from head injuries.

Then, responders took her to Kaweah Health Medical Center. Moreover, the authorities suspect that alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
