1 Person Hurt in Santa Barbara Bicycle Accident on De La Vina Street and Pueblo Street
SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 20, 2024) – Saturday night, a startling hit-and-run crash on De La Vina Street and Pueblo Street injured one person.
The incident happened at around 7:25 p.m. on De La Vina Street and Pueblo Street.
According to reports, a black Range Rover struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, a passenger of the vehicle exited the Range Rover while the driver fled the scene.
Moreover, authorities said that the bicyclist sustained unknown injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, officers confirmed that the passenger also fled the scene after being confronted by a witness. The passenger is best described as a white male, age 50s-60s, about 6’2″ wearing a Santa Barbara County Fire Department hat.
The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued investigating the crash.
