Hit-and-Run Driver Surrenders after San Rafael Auto Accident on Belvedere Street

SAN RAFAEL, CA (April 19, 2023) – Monday afternoon, authorities reported injuries following a startling hit-and-run crash on Belvedere Street.

The incident happened at around 5:45 p.m. on Belvedere Street.

According to reports, a red vehicle struck a parked car for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the red vehicle to roll over multiple times. Then, the driver and a passenger of the red vehicle fled the scene on foot after the collision.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the vehicle passenger returned to the scene, seeking medical treatment. Also, the vehicle driver turned himself in at a police station.

Furthermore, authorities arrested and booked the driver for felony hit-and-run.
