SAN DIEGO, CA (February 13, 2024) – Sunday night, a startling hit-and-run crash on 3000 54th Street injured 1 person.
The incident occurred just after 6:00 p.m. in the 3000 block of 54th Street.
According to reports, as a 40-year-old woman stood in the No. 1 southbound lane, an unknown vehicle traveling in the lane hit her and escaped the scene.
After the crash, responders took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of a fractured left tibia and fibula, although her injuries are not considered life-threatening at this time.
Officers confirmed that the incident had no witnesses at the scene.
Moreover, the involved vehicle driver remained at large.
