Injuries Reported in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on 1800 El Cajon Boulevard

SAN DIEGO, CA (June 12, 2023) – Sunday night, a startling hit-and-run crash on 1800 El Cajon Boulevard injured 1 person.

The incident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. in the 1800 block of El Cajon Boulevard, said the San Diego Police Department.

According to reports, the 47-year-old victim stood near the bus lane, just east of the crosswalk. Meanwhile, a northbound car on Park Boulevard turned right and struck the male pedestrian. Then, the driver fled down El Cajon Boulevard.

When responders arrived, they found the victim unconscious and injured his head and shoulder. Also, officers said that they haven’t determined who was at fault.

Furthermore, they described the car as a dark-colored Honda Civic or BMW 3 series.
