Injuries Reported in Ramona Auto Accident on State Route 78 and Crosswinds Road

RAMONA, CA (November 23, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling head-on crash on State Route 78 and Crosswinds Road injured 4 people.

The incident involving three vehicles occurred at 12:39 p.m. on State Route 78, west of Crosswinds Road.

According to reports, the head-on crash left four people with injuries, three of them seriously.

Meanwhile, responders airlifted two of the injured victims to a Palomar Medical Center. Moreover, another was flown to a Sharp hospital, said CHP Officer Mark Latulippe. Also, a fourth person sustained minor injuries.

However, the authorities haven’t disclosed any details of the crash, including what kind of vehicles were involved and the patients’ exact conditions.

Furthermore, Caltrans closed a portion of the highway at Weekend Villa Road in both directions. However, the lanes were reopened to traffic just before 2:50 p.m.
