Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on Pasqual Valley Road near E 17th Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 18, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, 8 people suffered injuries in a startling head-on crash on Pasqual Valley Road near E 17th Avenue.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day on San Pasqual Valley Road near E 17th Avenue.
Upon the arrival of the authorities, they located eight people suffering from injuries. Responders took five people to the hospital, including two minors.
Two people sustained severe injuries in the crash, one of them a minor child.
Officers confirmed that the vehicles involved, an SUV and a white sedan, had heavy front-end damage.
“That family had three little kids in the car, a baby and two younger girls,” one nearby resident said. “It was a whole family, I don’t know where they were going, but there were little, little kids.”
Also, one of the vehicles caught fire.
Meanwhile, the incident shut down the road for several hours during the investigation. All lanes have since reopened.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
