Injuries Reported in Victorville Auto Accident on Bear Valley Road and Balsam Avenue

VICTORVILLE, CA (October 15, 2023) – Saturday morning, a startling head-on crash on Bear Valley Road and Balsam Avenue injured 2 people.

The incident happened at around 6:00 a.m. on Bear Valley Road, west of Balsam Avenue. According to reports, the crash involved a 4-door Nissan Sentra and a 4-door Toyota Corolla.

According to reports, the semi driver used his fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Also, he helped pull the male driver out of the burning car.

When emergency responders arrived, they confirmed that one of the vehicles was fully engulfed.

Thus, firefighters called for two helicopters to transport two critically injured patients. One Mercy Air helicopter landed at Desert Valley Hospital and the other on Bear Valley Road.

Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t clarified whether any other people involved in the crash were taken by ambulance.

Also, the crash shut down both east and westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road temporarily for the accident investigation and to allow for the helicopter to land.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the Victorville Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
