IRVINE, CA (October 15, 2023) – Tuesday night, a startling fiery crash on Portola Parkway and State Route 261 injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 10:12 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Portola Parkway, just east of State Route 261.

According to reports, a vehicle veered off the road for unknown reasons.

Upon the authorities’ arrival, they located a vehicle off the side of the road, engulfed in flames. Also, they located the two victims from the crash nearby.

After receiving treatment from medics, an ambulance took them to nearby hospitals. However, the extent of their injuries remained unavailable.

Meanwhile, the crews worked to put off the vehicle fire which was spreading to nearby vegetation.
