SAN DIEGO, CA (May 3, 2023) – Early Tuesday, a startling electric scooter crash on Delbarton Street and Zion Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident happened just after 1:00 a.m. on Delbarton Street and Zion Avenue.

According to reports, a 36-year-old man riding an electric scooter failed to yield at a stop sign. Then, a 2012 Toyota Camry hit him, said the San Diego Police Department.

After the crash, responders took the victim to a hospital with cerebral hemorrhage, pneumothorax, and other internal injuries.

Moreover, the 53-year-old male Camry driver suffered no injuries in the crash.
