SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 1, 2023) – Monday morning, a startling DUI crash near Loop 410 and Fredericksburg Road injured 1 person.

The incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. near Loop 410, Fredericksburg Road.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and being chased by officers ran a red light and collided with an SAPD DWI patrol unit.

Moreover, responders transported a police officer to a nearby hospital to be checked out.

Furthermore, officers arrested the 19-year-old female driver of the suspect vehicle for driving while intoxicated and causing a crash.
