SANTA YNEZ, CA (August 1, 2024) – Wednesday, a startling car crash on N Refugio Road and Samantha Drive injured 2 people.

The incident involving a four-door sedan and a Grey SUV happened on N Refugio and Samantha Drive,

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the American Medical Response, and CHP all responded to the scene.

Both drivers, who were alone in their vehicles at the time, had already exited before the emergency crews arrived. They both sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital.

The crash led to a temporary road closure, which has since been lifted.
